Plaque removal - Professional care
Regular tooth cleaning by the dentist or dental hygienist is important to remove plaque that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing, especially in areas that are difficult for a patient to reach on his own at home.
Dental plaque is a yellowish bio-film that builds up on the teeth. If not removed regularly, it can lead to dental cavities (caries - a disease which damages the structures of teeth) and inflammation of the gums.
Professional cleaning includes tooth scaling and tooth polishing and débridement (removal of dead, damaged, or infected tissue) if too much tartar has accumulated. This involves the use of various instruments or devices to loosen and remove deposits from the teeth.
Improper removal of plaque caused a build up of calculus (dark yellow color) near the gums on almost all the teeth.
Many dentists recommend having the teeth professionally cleaned every six months. More frequent cleaning and examination may be necessary during the treatment of many of the dental/oral disorders. Routine examination of the teeth is recommended at least every year.
Paceful and historical environment in Sopron town
The town of Sopron is one of the oldest and richest towns in terms of architectural monuments, as well as the most attractive settlements in Hungary. The view of the town centre is still dominated by several medieval churches; almost every house is a historical building with gables and spacious courtyards, whilst the narrow, mainly pedestrian streets give you a special atmosphere. There are fascinating 13th and 14th century houses and churches for enthusiasts of Gothic architecture. A medieval window or part of a Roman wall appears time and again amongst Baroque, Rococo and Classicist buildings. The centre is a living collection of different architectural styles.
The curative and fresh air of the natural environment, the sub-alpine climate, the hiking routes of the wooded hillsides, the “Károly” look-out tower, the
mountain springs, and the proximity of Lake Fertő, make Sopron one of the most beautiful and pleasant holiday resorts of Hungary. The Lővérek, the hilly area south of the town, is the most fascinating and most distinguished rest and recuperation area of Sopron. Calm forests with spruces, oaks and chestnuts, lilies of the valley and cyclamens, hiking paths and lookout towers - these are the attractions of the Lővérek.
